Carrie Odum

Carrie Odum is a magna cum laude graduate of Southeastern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She began her career as a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Internal Compliance Auditor for a large management company, developing deep expertise in regulatory compliance and operational performance.

Carrie joined Preferred Compliance Solutions as a Portfolio Manager, where her exceptional skills, leadership, and drive quickly set her apart. In recognition of her impact, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and serves as a member of the company’s Board.

She is nationally recognized as a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and is also a Certified Occupancy Specialist. With more than two decades of experience in LIHTC compliance and management, Carrie is known for her commitment to delivering knowledgeable, empathetic, and consistent support, guided by an outward-focused mindset.
